Please note, I never turn anyone away in need of care for lack of finances. I do work on a sliding scale as needed, although I do try to keep my normal prices affordable and reasonable. I am happy to discuss any access needs you might have and if we need to create even more flexibility for your needs, I am happy to have that conversation with you. This payment structure reflects my commitment to community well-being. It is not a sign of undervaluing my work; rather it is a way to provide care that remains accessible within the constraints of our economic system.  For clarity, this is my sliding scale:

1 60 minute massage: $85-90

3 60 minute massages: $240-$255

6 60 minute massages: $450-$480

1 90 minute massage: $110-$120

3 90 minute massages: $315-$345

6 90 minute massages: $600-$660

How do sliding scales work? A sliding scale allows you the client, choose a session price that fits your financial situation. Instead of one fixed price, I offer a range. This makes care accessible to people with different resources while still supporting the sustainability of my practice. I feel that massage is not a luxury service, but an integral part of health care and sometimes we need more care for various injuries and conditions. 

A helpful way of determining what price range to pay:

 1)Access:  Does paying at the higher end feel easy and comfortable? If so, choosing the upper end supports the longevity of my practice and community access. 

2) Stretch: Does paying in the middle feel manageable with some planning, but not stressful? 

3) Sustain: Does paying at the lower end allow you to receive care without creating financial strain? That is exactly what the lower rate is there for. 

 This form of massage is often under the care and direction of a physician for work- related injuries or trauma due to a motor vehicle accident and focuses on the specific areas of treatment. Together, we will develop a goal-oriented treatment plan for your injuries. Updates of your progress will be submitted to your prescribing doctor for review and evaluation. This massage will utilize techniques of manual therapy, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue techniques and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation as well as strain-counter strain techniques. I am always open and more than happy to communicate to other providers and collaborate to ensure continuity of care. 

 I offer a discount for payments made at the time of service (see prices listed above). I also bill the following health insurances: RGA/ BCBS (Regence/ Blue Cross), HMA (Ashland School district 

All forms of payment are accepted: cash, check, HSA, credit card. Please note that there is a 2.6%-3% credit card fee on all credit card payments depending on which form of payment you use. 

Upon request I can provide you with a 'super bill' invoice that you can submit to your health insurance company for potential reimbursement, if I am not covered by your insurance.
